Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Dreams Sapphire. We want our wedding celebration to also be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside of the Wedding Day -- be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this beautiful resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available from February 1 to 8, 2023. And the Wedding celebration is on Saturday, February 4th. We recommend that you arrive at least 1-2 days before the celebration. But please come and stay as long as you'd like. 

What should I wear to the wedding?
Please dress formally for the wedding. Think beachy, but elegant. 

Are kids invited to the wedding?
As we know many of you will make a family vacation out of this, you are absolutely invited to bring your children to stay with you at the resort. Dreams has a great Kids Club and waterpark that provides supervised activities daily. 

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Cancun Airport to our host resort is included with our group block rates. 

Do you we have to stay at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
Yes, all guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding festivities. A huge part of what makes a destination celebration special is being able to spend time with our family and friends beyond just the wedding day. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Puerto Morelos, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay. A light sweater may also be good for evenings.
